Sitting here, watching the RNC speeches on the final night of the convention, we thought we’d run our news analytics on the coverage of Trump’s acceptance speech. This was clearly written in haste, as much of today’s journalism. Only difference is we actually know how short this deadline was.  The sentiment on the main Republican actors in this article is neutral. The sentiment on the main Democrats is actually rather negative. Perhaps it’s because of the direct quotes of what Trump had to say in their general direction. The overall tone of the article, and its title, were relatively neutral. We would say this is generally neutral reporting, though perhaps a little more sympathetic to the night’s protagonists.
