Microsoft has recently unveiled its new Bing search engine, which is powered by ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence (AI) language model developed by OpenAI. The new Bing search engine and Edge browser are part of Microsoft’s efforts to integrate AI technology in its products, enhancing search results and productivity.

The new Bing search engine is being rolled out in phases to early testers worldwide on desktop and will be available on Android and iOS devices in the coming weeks. Microsoft is enhancing Bing’s Chat UI for Android and iOS with new OpenAI-powered content and optimizing Bing.com’s AI UX for mobile form factors. However, the mobile experience for the new Bing is not yet ready, but Microsoft is working on an optimized Bing AI app for Android and iOS, which will be released soon.

Microsoft refers to the new Bing and Edge browser as an “AI copilot for the web.” The enhancements seek to provide more thorough responses and search results. The goal is to help users navigate the web more efficiently and productively, making it easier to find information and complete tasks.

In addition to the new Bing search engine, Microsoft is planning to demonstrate its new Prometheus model to its core productivity apps, such as Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Microsoft is integrating OpenAI’s language AI technology and AI Model in its productivity plans, making it easier for users to work more efficiently.

Overall, the new Bing search engine and Edge browser are part of Microsoft’s strategy to leverage AI technology to enhance user experience and productivity. With the upcoming release of the new Bing search engine on Android and iOS devices, users can expect to have access to more optimized and efficient AI-powered tools.
