Both Google Play and the App Store played crucial roles in ChatGPT’s success. Google Play accounted for 9 million downloads in September, showcasing the app’s popularity among Android users. Meanwhile, the App Store recorded 6.6 million ChatGPT downloads in the same month, contributing to a total of 52.2 million downloads.
