A couple months ago we pointed our AI analyzers at pictures to look at mask wearing trends as part of our Covid Insights dashboard. The results brought back an interesting array of data about the trends for mask wearing by city. We haven’t revisited those trends since July, but it would certainly be interesting to see how the trends stack up among campaign activists for both our current presidential candidates. The tone for mask wearing is set at the top. Today’s unfortunate news from the White House today serves as a somber reminder that masks do help the spread of Covid. And today’s immediate drop in the markets serves as a reminder that Covid has implications to our economy. Follow the money, and mask wearing becomes a market factor.
